Imagine the looks on your guests’ faces when they arrive at your event, where the Royal Gorge opens before them, a historic monastery towers over them, or a blossoming orchard of apple trees surrounds them. In the Royal Gorge Region, this happens year-round as multiple event venues offer the ideal settings for weddings, conferences, retreats, banquets, and reunions.

While weddings and other group functions can be hosted in vacation rentals, restaurants, and more, Fremont County boasts several popular event venues that have perfected the art of serving you and your party.

Perhaps the most dramatic venue in the area is the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, where looking down is as extraordinary as looking up. Host your event in an intimate pavilion or a 5,900-square foot, partially-covered outdoor area—both come with jaw dropping views. The Royal Gorge Bridge and Park offers special rates for parties of 20 or more, is the region’s leader in culinary arts, and prides itself on its superb service.

For a bit of history, book your next big event at the Abbey Events Complex, which offers 7,000 square feet of meeting space and a backdrop that includes a 1924 Tudor-Gothic style building that once served as a Catholic Monastery. Complete with gorgeous stained-glass windows and several gardens, this venue gives history buffs exactly what they’re looking for. Another historic option is the Bell Tower Cultural Center. Once a Baptist Church erected in 1898, the beauty of this historic church and gardens is just blocks from downtown Florence and Pioneer Park.

Nature lovers will find their ideal venue space at Jenkins Farms Apple Valley Orchard. Here, the Red Barn Pavilion is nestled in the middle of a flourishing apple orchard, where apple blossoms bloom in the spring and leaves turn shades of gold in the fall.
