Get Back to Your Roots at a Brand New Colorado Barn Venue

Wedding season is around the corner, and with COVID still restricting large gatherings, Colorado brides are seeking out intimate, outdoor venues that serve their vision and keep their guests safe.

Two brand new Colorado wedding venues aim to do just that. Three Peaks Ranch in Westcliffe and Howard Creek Farm both offer renovated barns, outdoor ceremony sites, and airy reception venues ideal for 2021.

Three Peaks Ranch, Westcliffe

Colorado boasts a brand new, modern rustic wedding venue with lodging in the gorgeous Wet Mountain Valley.

Three Peaks Ranch, a private, exclusive ranch in Westcliffe, offers wedding packages for one to three nights. The venue not only includes breathtaking views but also has cabins, a ranch house, and a barn owner and architect Karen Sund describes as modern Louisiana style meets rustic Western.

While couples enjoy the luxurious venue with amazing, modern ranch accommodations and incredible views at the base of the Sangre De Cristo mountains, it is their guests who receive the greatest gift of all—the brightest stars in the world.

Westcliffe is an International Dark-Sky Designated Community and the highest in the world, which means Three Peaks Ranch guests bask in some of the world’s best stargazing opportunities, an ideal activity for a reception that goes on into the night.

Howard Creek Farm, Howard

Howard Creek Farm’s 1890’s 11-acre property is an active farm complete with honey bees, growing hops, hay pastures, and more. It is located on the Arkansas River with gorgeous views of the 13,000 foot Twin Sister peaks of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range.

Its historic wedding barn was originally built in 1861 in Northern Indiana. It was dismantled, moved, and rebuilt in Howard in 2019. It now hosts rustic yet elegant experiences in the Colorado Mountains.
