The Royal Gorge Region is home to trails for all sorts of outdoor activities, including Jeeping and OHVing. Just a few miles from Canon City lies the off-road mecca, Texas Creek, where riders will discover an extensive trail system providing great views of the Arkansas River Valley and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. With many different trails spanning the spectrum in difficulty, all riders can find something to enjoy on these trails.

Play Dirty ATV is located just 27 miles west of Cañon City in Texas Creek, where certified guides will outfit you and your group with goggles and ATVs. After a safety course, your guide will take you 3,000 vertical feet up above the Arkansas River Valley floor on the challenging “Rough & Tumble” trail to an elevation of 9,100 feet. ATV’ing is a year-round activity in the Royal Gorge area that all age groups can enjoy.
