As promised this will be the CRRC Board Sponsored Obstacle Course
On October 5th.
This is not a show that will contribute to points to CRRC members end of year standings.
You may ride in an English, Dressage, or Western type saddle.
Bridles with a curb may be used, snaffles, and Bosals may be used, romel or split reins can be used. No hacksmores and no tie downs or martingales and no roping reins.
Relaxed attire: Boots, jeans or breeches, no short sleeveless shirts. T-shirts ok. Helmets or hats.
The first class, the In Hand, can be any age person or or any age horse.
You can show more than one horse.
You can share a horse.
The points will follow the handler & the horse that scores the highest wins (1st through 6th)
You can use a rope halter, a leather halter, or a regular nylon halter. No crops or whips allowed.
The second class is the Adult, 19 and over. A ridden class, The above attire and tack rules are to be followed.
Points will be given for each obstacle. The most points win 1st. Through 6th place.
The third class, Youth 18 and under follow the rules for the Adult class.
The 4th class, The Open, will be judged and timed. Each obstacle will have points and if the contestant goes over the time allowed there will be a 3 point penalty for every 5 seconds and anything over the 20 second mark will be disqualified.
In the 3 riding classes you may also show more than one horse as well as share a horse. The points will follow the rider/horse who score the highest.
To get the discount on the second horse (or third or however many you want to enter) all three class must be entered by the same rider as well!
Separate entry fees for each horse/ rider pair will be charged
Each contestant will pay the $5.00 office fee, and each horse will have the $10.00 charged one time for the day, faculty use fee to Heath Marshall.
Please take advantage of going over and practicing at Heaths as long as he doesn’t have a clinic going on he lets people come and pay the $10.00 a day fee for each horse brought to the facility 🐎🐴😄

This is going to be a friendly fun day, something different for everyone to get involved and try something new.
There is not a daily high point. The classes have their own placings and prizes!!!
Entries must be in by 8:30 for the first class. You can enter by texting before the show and pay at the show!
