There is plenty to do, see, and discover during Fremont Fall Heritage Days, a seven-week-long celebration of Fremont County history filled with free events in Cañon City, Florence, and beyond.
Fremont Fall Heritage Days offers incredible opportunities for residents to celebrate the heritage of their area and visitors to understand all the interesting history surrounding it.
Events include free museum tours, walking tours, lectures, and more. However, the Big Horn Sheep Canyon Geology Tour is undoubtedly the most popular event. During this tour, a volunteer geologist describes the geology of the canyon from Cañon City to the Salida area and back.
