After you check in with the Royal Gorge Route Railroad, you’ll begin your 24-mile round trip journey through the 1,100-foot-deep Royal Gorge and alongside the raging Arkansas River. You can customize this Royal Gorge train ride to suit your budget. Choose the coach car with comfortable seats and big windows to take in the spectacular views. Or, upgrade to a dome car with an incredible glass roof that offers unobstructed views of the canyons and river.
